You can run email marketing from your dot by connecting Migma in ChatGPT and giving your dot access to it. Your dot plans the work and brings you drafts to review. Migma designs the emails in your brand, checks them, sends them from your domain, and tracks what people click. Nothing reaches your subscribers until you approve it.
What dots are, and why email needs Migma
OpenAI introduced dots on September 29, 2026. A dot is an always-on agent in ChatGPT. It works toward your goals, uses the apps you connect, and messages you when something needs your decision. You can talk to it in ChatGPT, Slack, or Teams. (OpenAI)
A dot can write an email on its own. A campaign needs more than the words:
- Your logo, fonts, and colors, the same way every time.
- HTML that holds up in Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, and every other client.
- Contacts who opted in, a verified sender, and working unsubscribes.
- Results you can see after the send.
Migma handles those parts. Your dot stays the place where you ask, review, and approve.
What you need
- A dot. OpenAI is rolling dots out to Pro and Business Premium plans in eligible markets. Enterprise workspaces can try the beta when an admin turns it on.
- A Migma account with your brand imported.
- Permission to use plugins in your ChatGPT workspace. An admin may need to allow Migma first.
- For live campaigns, contacts who opted in and a sending domain. A managed Migma address works for tests and small sends. Connect your own domain before a real campaign.
Connect Migma to your dot
- In ChatGPT on the web or desktop, open Plugins, search for Migma, and choose Connect. If Migma is already installed, choose Try now.
- Approve access in your browser. Read each permission first. The send and campaign permissions let the connection send test emails and create, schedule, or send campaigns.
- Give your dot access to Migma. OpenAI says you choose which apps your dot can use in your ChatGPT app controls.
- Add a Custom Rule that requires your approval before Migma sends or schedules anything. Custom Rules can allow an action, require approval, or block it.
- Check the connection. Message your dot:
Use Migma to show my brands and suggest what we should do first.
Your dot should list the brands you can access without changing anything. You never paste an API key into ChatGPT. Access runs through the plugin and your browser approval. See Migma permissions for what each one allows.
Ask for your first campaign
Give your dot one clear job. Name the brand, the audience, the facts it may use, and the link:
Use Migma with brand [name].
Design our [launch / newsletter / offer] email for [audience].
Use only these facts: [approved facts]. Main link: [URL].
Show me the preview and the Migma link when it's ready.
Keep it as a draft. Don't send or schedule anything.
Migma designs the email with your brand kit and saved rules, then returns a preview image and a link to the email in Migma. Ask your dot for changes in plain words, or open the link and edit the email yourself on the Migma canvas.
For a bigger moment, ask for a series, such as an announcement, a reminder, and a last call. Migma plans the emails as one sequence, so each one builds on the last.
Check every email before it goes out
Migma builds every email to hold up in Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo, and on mobile, in light and dark mode.
Before you approve anything, ask your dot to run Migma's checks. Email Preflight shows how the email looks across email clients and checks spam signals, spelling, and links. It can fix the issues it finds.
Then ask for a test send to an address you control. Open it on your phone and your computer. A test is a separate approval from the campaign.
Approve the send
When the email is ready, ask your dot to prepare the campaign as a draft:
Create a Migma campaign draft from this email.
Recipients: [list or segment]. Subject: [subject]. Sender: [from address].
Show me the recipient count, sender, subject, and send time, then wait for my approval.
Check each detail. When everything matches your plan, approve it in the conversation. Your dot can then send the campaign or schedule it for the time you chose.
Dots can message you when something needs your decision, so the approval comes to you in ChatGPT or wherever you talk to your dot.
Read the results
After the send, ask your dot how it went:
Use Migma to show results for [campaign].
Summarize deliveries, opens, clicks, bounces, and complaints in plain words.
Suggest one change for the next email.
Migma tracks delivery, opens, and clicks for every send. The Click map shows where people clicked, right on the email's links and buttons, and leaves out clicks from bots and link scanners. Migma can read those results and suggest what to improve next time. (Track results)
Your dot learns how you like to work. Migma keeps your brand, saved rules, and favorite emails, so each new email starts from what you already chose.
What stays with you
- Every send. Migma tells your dot to get your yes before any live send or schedule. Your Custom Rule makes that approval required.
- Your claims and your audience. Give your dot the facts it may use. Send only to people who opted in. See what you can send.
- Background work. OpenAI says that when a dot looks for ways to help on its own, it uses the apps you connected with read-only tools. It can check, but it can't send.
- Access. Disconnect Migma under ChatGPT ‚Üí Settings ‚Üí Apps. To cut access at once, revoke the ChatGPT key in Migma ‚Üí Settings ‚Üí Developers ‚Üí API Keys.
Start with one draft
Connect Migma from ChatGPT's Plugin Directory, give your dot access, and ask it for one email. The ChatGPT setup guide walks through each screen.

Yes, through Migma, after you approve. Your dot can prepare a campaign for contacts who opted in, then send or schedule it once you confirm the audience, sender, subject, and time.
Do I need to paste an API key into ChatGPT?
No. Migma connects through the ChatGPT plugin and your browser approval, so no key is copied into ChatGPT.
Which ChatGPT plans include dots?
OpenAI is rolling dots out to Pro and Business Premium users in eligible markets. Enterprise workspaces, including Edu and Healthcare, can try the beta when an admin enables it. Check OpenAI's announcement for current availability.
